Stampin' Up! 12x12 scrapbooking with My Digital Studio

Hello Everyone

Hope you are keeping warm if you are feeling the deep freeze.  I wanted to share some MDS scrapbook pages I have been working on.  I find that using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio to create beautiful scrapbook pages easy.  My 8 year old daughter has started to use it and making some really cute scrappages and cards.  MDS really is a very user friendly software program that anyone can use, whether your 8 or 88 and any age between.  You don't have to be a "computer person" to use it.

Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio vidoes

Stampin' Up! 1 layout 3 looks

Hello Everyone

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.  I thought I would share a layout that I made with MDS (My Digital Studio).  One is using the Sweet Pea kit and the other is the Play Date kit.  Both are available by going to the SHOP NOW link HERE along with My Digital Studio software.  These pages can easily be created using traditional scrapbooking supplies as well.  I have also taken the same layout and created a standard portrait size card.  All products used are Stampin' Up!

SCCSC27 card sketch challenge Stampin' Up!

Here is another card sketch from the challenge this week at Stampin' Connection. I am loving baja breeze, soft suede and kraft colour combo. SCCSC26 card sketch challenge

hello all

hope you had a great weekend/long weekend...I'm trying to get back into my groove and ramping up for the Stampin' Up! regional in Hamilton, Ontario next month.  I haven't been doing too many challenges lately but saw this one on Stampin' Connections (SU demo only site) and decided to do this one and hopefully I'll have my mojo back and can come up with some great ideas to create some cards for swaps at regionals!!!  I am loving baja breeze, soft suede and kraft colour combo.  Here is what I came up with using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio (MDS)...thanks to Liz Goldhawk for the sketch.

SU Scrapbook layout with new colors

Hi Everyone

Have had a little bit of time to play around with MDS and some of the new digital downloads.  I created this simple 8x8 scrapbook page layout using of the the new colors (early espresso, marina mist, cherry cobbler and daffodil delight) - if you already have MDS you can download the new colours and the In Colors FREE here and one of the new alphabet sets Broadsheet Alphabet and Broadsheet Accents.  All these products are available for My Digital Studio (MDS) as well you can purchase the stamp sets and cardstock and Designer paper through my Stampin' Up! website by clicking HERE and going to the SHOP NOW link.

Hi Everyone

Here is my Stampin' Up! class schedule for the next few months.

1. Fun & Fast Notes Card Class
• Date: Monday, March 8th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be using the FUN AND FAST NOTES stamp set to create 8 cards. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
2. Stationary Box Gift Set Class - cancelled...PLEASE SEE APRIL 12, 2010 class
• Date: Monday, March 22nd, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be creating a stationary box that hold 4 standard cards, 4 note cards and4 gift tags plus a decorated pen that goes with the set.. Cost of the class is $30 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive. 
3. Stationary Box Set or Simply Scrappin’ Kit Mini Scrapbook Class
• Date: April 12th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: You will have the option to do one of two projects this evening.
  
  First, You will be using creating a stationary box that hold 4 standard cards, 4 note cards and4 gift tags plus a decorated pen that goes with the set.. Cost of the class is $30 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
  
  Or, You will be creating a mini scrapbook using one of the Simply Scrappin’ Kits. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
  
4. Mother’s Day Chipboard Picture Frame and Card Set Class
• Date: Monday, April 26th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be creating a book-style picture frame using chipboard and decorating it with designer paper and embellishments and also creating a Mother’s Day card to go with it. Though this class is geared towards Mother’s Day you have the option of not doing it for Mother’s Day and just create the projects for any other occasion etc. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
5. All Day Scrap, Card and Papercrafts Day
• Date: Saturday, May 1st, 2010
• Time: 9am-5pm
• Place: James Strath Public School (1175 Brealey Drive Peterborough, Ontario, K9J 6X4) – Multi-Purpose Room
• Description of event: This is an all day event that you can work on your own projects whatever they may be. Scrapbooking, Card making and other papercraft making. Bring your projects and get down to business!!! The cost for the day will be $35 or $25 with a minimum Stampin’ Up! order of $50. I haven’t worked out the details and will ask those that will be attending that maybe we can do a pot-luck lunch etc. With the cost for the day I will be doing a 2 projects potentially 3 throughout the day and I will have non-consumable products for your use (punches, stamps, inks). I will also have consumables for sale as well (ie. Cardstock, patterned paper, etc). This will be an amazing day and guaranteed fun!!!

Please let me know which class(es) you will be attending so that I can make sure I have the supplies needed as well as letting me know for the May 1st all-day event.
