More Cards with new Stampin' Up! 2014-2016 In-Colors

Hello Everyone

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I created using the new Stampin' Up! 2014-2016 In-Colors.  The first one I used Mossy Meadow as the base and the Word Bubbles Framelits Dies and various Thank You sayings.  The centre word bubble is really an oval framelits die.  

The second card is a screen card with three panels.  Again I used the Mossy Meadow for the base.  I only used 1/2 sheet of card stock for it.  The measurements are 5 1/2 x 10 3/4 scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.  I used the Decorative Label Punch for the bottom and the scallop border punch for the top.  I used Work of Art, Perfect Pennants and Yippee-Skippee stamp sets.

Stampin' Up! class schedule for May and June 2010

Hello Everyone

Here are the classes I have scheduled for the next couple of months.  Please contact me as soon as possible and let me know if you can attend.  Friends are always welcome.

1.  Non-standard Card Class
     MAY 10 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Eastern)
     If you'd like to learn how of create different style cards other than the standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 fold cards     then this class is for you. We will create different style cards like a tri-shutter, gate-fold, step-card etc. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive. Please let me know if you are planning on attending (friends are more then welcome) so that I make sure I have enough supplies.

2.  All-Male Card Class

     JUN 7 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Eastern)
     This class will be centered around the boys/men in our lives. We will create about 8 cards ranging from a card for a newborn baby boy to grandfathers. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive. Please let me know if you are planning on attending (friends are more then welcome) so that I make sure I have enough supplies

3.  Card, box and tag gift set for Teacher...
     JUN 17 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Eastern)
     We will be making 5 cards with box and tag for teacher's thank you gift. This project is very versitile can be given as a gift for numerous occasions. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive. Please let me know if you are planning on attending (friends are more then welcome) so that I make sure I have enough supplies.

Here is my Stampin' Up! class schedule for the next few months.

1. Fun & Fast Notes Card Class
• Date: Monday, March 8th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be using the FUN AND FAST NOTES stamp set to create 8 cards. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
2. Stationary Box Gift Set Class - cancelled...PLEASE SEE APRIL 12, 2010 class
• Date: Monday, March 22nd, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be creating a stationary box that hold 4 standard cards, 4 note cards and4 gift tags plus a decorated pen that goes with the set.. Cost of the class is $30 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive. 
3. Stationary Box Set or Simply Scrappin’ Kit Mini Scrapbook Class
• Date: April 12th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: You will have the option to do one of two projects this evening.
  
  First, You will be using creating a stationary box that hold 4 standard cards, 4 note cards and4 gift tags plus a decorated pen that goes with the set.. Cost of the class is $30 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
  
  Or, You will be creating a mini scrapbook using one of the Simply Scrappin’ Kits. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
  
4. Mother’s Day Chipboard Picture Frame and Card Set Class
• Date: Monday, April 26th, 2010
• Time: 7-10pm
• Description of class: We will be creating a book-style picture frame using chipboard and decorating it with designer paper and embellishments and also creating a Mother’s Day card to go with it. Though this class is geared towards Mother’s Day you have the option of not doing it for Mother’s Day and just create the projects for any other occasion etc. Cost of the class is $25 and all supplies will be provided with the exception of adhesive. Please bring your own tape runner / adhesive.
5. All Day Scrap, Card and Papercrafts Day
• Date: Saturday, May 1st, 2010
• Time: 9am-5pm
• Place: James Strath Public School (1175 Brealey Drive Peterborough, Ontario, K9J 6X4) – Multi-Purpose Room
• Description of event: This is an all day event that you can work on your own projects whatever they may be. Scrapbooking, Card making and other papercraft making. Bring your projects and get down to business!!! The cost for the day will be $35 or $25 with a minimum Stampin’ Up! order of $50. I haven’t worked out the details and will ask those that will be attending that maybe we can do a pot-luck lunch etc. With the cost for the day I will be doing a 2 projects potentially 3 throughout the day and I will have non-consumable products for your use (punches, stamps, inks). I will also have consumables for sale as well (ie. Cardstock, patterned paper, etc). This will be an amazing day and guaranteed fun!!!

Please let me know which class(es) you will be attending so that I can make sure I have the supplies needed as well as letting me know for the May 1st all-day event.

Stampin' Up! For All You Do

First, as a side note....CANADA just won another GOLD MEDAL in Ladies Snowboard Cross - Maelle Ricker!!!!!! Way to go!!!

Now for another card.  This is a Thank You card using My Digital Studio.  You can easily re-create this card using traditional cardstock and stamps, etc.

Hope you are having a great Valentine's Day....Here is a card I made using My Digital Studio. 
The products used are:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Kraft and Pretty in Pink card stock, Best Wishes & More Stamp Set and  Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Kraft and Pretty in Pink classic ink.
Though it was created in My Digital Studio you can easily adapt it to create the card traditionally with CS, Stamps, embellishments and Ink.
